Ulriksdals Slott
Earlier this year we took a bike ride to one of several royal castles around Stockholm. This one is called Ulriksdals Slott and is a summer palace. This means that they will close their doors to public today until next year. I really love the tree silhouettes in this photo.

Great font
I love a great font and I love how they've used it on a door. This is at the City Hall, Stockholm. The inscription simply says "Byggnadsnämnd Stockholm" which means "Stockholm Local Building Community". I love that they've made something so drab look so beautiful.
On ice
We took a walk this morning around Kungsholmen to take advantage of the beautiful weather we've been enjoying lately. The lake Mälaren was frozen and Riddarholmen (The Knight's Islet) looked as if it was just floating on ice. I've never seen anything like it.
