Hanging on
Last Saturday was such a beautiful day. We had parked under this tree and I couldn't help but to capture the last of the leaves. I had this leaf perfectly in frame until a wind sweapt just as I took the photo.

JJ wearing his favourite beanie.
This basically describes his expression for the rest of the day after watching the Australia vs. Croatia game this morning :)

Brunch
Clockwise from left: latte (v. creamy); baked ricotta cheesecake with raspberries (delicious); cherry strudel (not sure, haven't tried it); and roti pancakes with cinnamon and condensed milk (v. nice although i would have liked a bit more condensed milk on the bottom layers). All in all - a yummy brunch!
At Deus Ex Machina Cafe, Camperdown, Sydney, NSW, AUSTRALIA.

Aren't I gorgeous?
Everybody, meeti Chilli.
She is a 5-month old toy poodle and I've fallen in love with her.
I spotted her last weekend in Newtown - she was just taken out of a large carry bag after a ride on a scooter. Notice how her right ear is still flipped out.
The cutest dog. Ever.

Billy is a wonderfully talented and energetic photographer whom I met through Flickr. Pay him a visit - you won't regret it.

Day 1: Two hot chocolates
Just got back from a "gastronomic" holiday in Melbourne (well, what would you call a holiday where you've done v. little apart from pigging out); three blissful days of overindulgence - and have without fail managed to find myself a spot at the ultimate chocaholics heaven called "Koko Black" on every single day.
What better way to escape from the notorious Melbourne chill than cooped up in a longe with a cup of oh-so-satisfying hot chocolate - ah, I want some now! But why stop there, I've also tried the deliciously creamy chocolate mousse and the best chocolate ice cream ever...
Highly recommended.

Twin cymbidiums
Twin cymbidiums, originally uploaded by l&coolj.
These beauties were raised by a very green-thumbed James Indsto who brings them to work every now and then for everyone to enjoy. Thanks James! :)

Roped off
Lush green lawn is becoming a rare sight in my neighbourhood.
No, we're not concreting our yards - it's the drought.
