Metropolitain
o that's where the word Metro comes from...
This art nouveau sign is what i alway associated with Paris - so the first chance I got, I took a shot of it. I know it's been photographed to death, but I just love it.

The colours of Skansen
Yesterday, J and I went to Skansen - something like an open-air museum on Djurgarden island, Stockholm. They have assembled over 100 farm buildings and houses from all over Sweden, showing how people lived once here.

Just married
My first big wedding shoot - had heaps of fun.
It was a very difficult venue to shoot with high ceilings and dim lights - lots of work but I think it turned out alright.

Unusual
Eerie sky yesterday after the storm (the shot is a bit noisy though because I left the camera on ISO400).

Tea time
A heavenly melt-in-your-mouth experience - some Greek biscuits (kourabiedes and coconut and almond macaroons) from the Athens Continental Cake Shop in Maroubra.

Hibiscus buds
I went for a walk and found these hibiscus buds scattered all over the road - the rain or wind must have brought them down prematurely. They would have to be one of the most unusual and pretties flowers I've photographed so far.

Cheat's pizza
Lebanese bread topped with tomato sauce, prosciutto, bocconcini, pine nuts and baby spinach.
And in case you are wondering - it was delish :)

The first harvest
These figs are from mum & dad's garden. Many times dad had wanted to cut the fig tree down, but every year he would change his mind once it started bearing fruit.
They have to cover it with some sort of net ting ,though, to prevent the birds from eating them all. I too share the same appetite for the sweet flesh, but what I really like is to sit under the tree - it's smell always reminds me of our summer holidays on the coast of the Adriatic.
