My first big wedding shoot - had heaps of fun.
It was a very difficult venue to shoot with high ceilings and dim lights - lots of work but I think it turned out alright.

A heavenly melt-in-your-mouth experience - some Greek biscuits (kourabiedes and coconut and almond macaroons) from the Athens Continental Cake Shop in Maroubra.

I went for a walk and found these hibiscus buds scattered all over the road - the rain or wind must have brought them down prematurely. They would have to be one of the most unusual and pretties flowers I've photographed so far.

The first harvest

These figs are from mum & dad's garden. Many times dad had wanted to cut the fig tree down, but every year he would change his mind once it started bearing fruit.
They have to cover it with some sort of net ting ,though, to prevent the birds from eating them all. I too share the same appetite for the sweet flesh, but what I really like is to sit under the tree - it's smell always reminds me of our summer holidays on the coast of the Adriatic.

The famous QVB Christmas tree is up again, extending over 3 levels and with several hundred gold bows and tens of thousands of Swarowski crystals and fairy lights (it takes them about 3 days to put it up).

The relatively new Malmo landmark - never seen anything quite like it. It is designed by Santiago Calatrava and is the tallest residential building in Sweden at 190 m (in case you were interested).
